Paramotor Tandem Bar Assembly

 

Stainless Steel Tandem Bar Assembly Instructions:

  • Congratulations and thank you for purchasing our Miniplane-USA Stainless Steel Paramotor Tandem Bar!
  • Made of sturdy Stainless Steel with double sewn Nylon straps, this tandem bar will withstand years of rigorous use.
  • Check your kit to make sure you have received all the necessary parts for completing your Tandem Bar.

Parts List:

  • Curved Front Bar
  • (2) Side Bars with connectors installed
  • (4) Stainless Shackles
  • (2) Stainless Carabiners
  • (2) Split Shaft Collars
  • (2) Safety Straps with Velcro
  • (2) Passenger Hang Straps - 11"
  • (2) Wing Carabiner Hang Straps - 7"

Put one Stainless Shackle in the Pilot end of each of the two Side Bars, as shown.

Add the Keyring Keepers to avoid disconnection from occurring.

Attach the two Aluminum Connectors to the other ends of the two Side Bars with the Bolts and Locknuts provided.

Attach the Curved Bar to the two side bars using the other two Stainless Shackles as shown.

Shackles should be on the Passenger side (front) of the Tandem Bar

Attach the Redundant Safety Strap to the Side Bars with the Velcro as shown.

Attach the Split Shaft Collar about two inches forward of the curve in the Side Bar on the Pilot end.

Attach the shorter Wing Strap by putting it through one of the two safety straps and pushing it through itself in a Lark's Head knot.

Make sure that the Wing Hang Strap straddles the adjustable Split Shaft Collar .

Put the Stainless Carabiner through the Wing Hang Strap.

Moving the Split Shaft Collar and Main Stainless Carabiner allows you to adjust the Center of Gravity for different weight passengers.

Push the Passenger Hang Strap through the loop in the end of the Redundant Safety Strap, then loop it over the Bar around the Bolt and Nut.

Push the Passenger Hang Strap through itself in a Lark's Head knot, and pull the end down to tighten the knot.

Now bring the loop in the Passenger Hang Strap through the Stainless Shackle.

This Hang Strap will allow the Pilot to attach the Passenger Harness (not included).

Attach the Pilot end of the Redundant Safety Strap to the Stainless Shackle.

Attach the Pilot end of the tandem Bar to the Carabiner Strap on your Paramotor using the Stainless Shackles.

Be sure to use the Keyring Keepers!

The Redundant Safety Strap can also be attached to your regular Carabiners on the Pilot side.
